All of these are mod podged onto blocks of wood except for the one in the middle. That one is a real book with just those open pages mod podged. I burnt the edges of some, ripped the edges of others, and used brown paint and sponged onto the edges of the real book to give it that dingy look and feel. These are easy and cheap decorations that anyone can do and they don't take up a lot of storage when the holiday is over either! WIN WIN!!
